Seung-hyun Kang (PHOTO: FWD)New York-based Ford Models, which was the first giant agency in the biz but famously lost just about everyone cool to Elite back in the 80's, held a Supermodel of the World Contest. Yesterday they announced the winner, that average looking Korean chick up there, who nabbed a contract with the agency for $250K.

In my honest opinion, Asian girls in those contests have a leg up because there are so few tall Asian chicks, and they agencies want at least a couple for their roster, so they choose them above the others solely due to scarcity.
It's true, she's totally the Yao Ming of modeling.
